Which modalities do you use?
Which modalities do you use?
Coming home to yourself is not a single technique; it’s a journey we walk together, step by step. It’s about slowly rebuilding your relationship with your inner world—your body, your thoughts, your nervous system, your younger parts—so you can feel rooted, human, and fully alive again.
Coming Home to Yourself
Most people don’t come to therapy looking for a technique. You come because something inside you doesn’t feel quite right.
Maybe you feel disconnected from yourself or stuck in patterns that don’t make sense.
Maybe your body feels tense, shut down, or like it’s always on alert.
Our work together is about gently reconnecting you with yourself — at a pace that feels safe and steady. We’ll move slowly, side by side, focusing on awareness, safety, and connection so that, over time, you can feel more grounded, more present, and more at home inside yourself again.
What Our Work May Look Like
There’s no set formula here. Each session meets you where you are that day. Depending on what’s showing up, our work might include things like:
Growing awareness of your thoughts, emotions, and body sensations
Creating a sense of safety so your nervous system can relax
Listening to what your body’s trying to tell you and gently releasing tension
Exploring relationship patterns that may have roots in early experiences
Meeting younger parts of yourself with curiosity and care
Understanding inner dynamics like the inner critic or protective parts
Learning practical tools to support emotional balance and daily life
You don’t need to know what kind of therapy you want, or have the words to explain what’s wrong. We’ll figure it out together as we go.
Approaches I Draw From
If you’re curious about how I work, I integrate an approach that’s relational, body-based, and trauma-informed. This can include:
Somatic therapy
Attachment-based therapy
Parts work
Mindfulness-based approaches
Psychodynamic and trauma-informed counseling
CBT and DBT tools when helpful
These approaches are always adapted to you — never applied in a one-size-fits-all way.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You just need a willingness to show up as you are.
The rest, we’ll discover together.
